Rosamund Pike – ‘Wrath of the Titans’ It’s about time the ‘Titans’ series get a bona fide hottie! ‘Pride and Prejudice’ star Rosamund Pike plays the tough-as-nail Queen Andromeda in ‘Wrath of the Titans’. Nothing says hot more than a queen who kicks butt.
Emma Stone – ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’Our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man gets a new movie, new leading man and yes, even a new leading lady. ‘Zombieland’ cutie Emma Stone will play Spidey’s love interest Gwen Stacy in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ and – no offence to Bryce Dallas-Howard – we think she’s perfect hottie for the role.
Kate Beckinsale – ‘Total Recall’ Summer blockbuster season is never complete without Kate Beckinsale, and this year’s no different. No, there’s no ‘Underworld’ catsuit for Kate this time around. Instead, she’ll be playing a spy in the reboot of ‘Total Recall’, and hey, it works for us.
Kristen Stewart – ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part II’ Yes, ladies and gents: Kristen Stewart will be back for the last time (for the ‘Twilight’ series, that is). But this time around, Kristen will be playing a sparkly vampire; supposedly more beautiful than her old human self. To be fair, she is already quite a hottie, so we can’t wait to see how much hotter she will be.
Jennifer Lawrence – ‘The Hunger Games’Speaking of girls who kick butt, Jennifer Lawrence is the hottest thing this summer, thanks to her portrayal as Katniss Everdeen in the much anticipated book-to-movie adaptation of the year, ‘The Hunger Games’. In fact, thanks to Jennifer’s sweet girl-next-door charm, ‘The Hunger Games’ has overthrown ‘Twilight’ as the must-watch tween movie.
Lily Collins – ‘Mirror Mirror’ There have been tones of ladies who have played Snow White, but Lily Collins has got to be our favourite. Lily stars as the tragic princess in a modern day re-telling of the children folklore, and we gotta say, she makes a pretty royal.
Charlize Theron – ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ While we’re on the subject of Snow White, sexy siren Charlize Theron plays the Evil Queen in another modern re-telling of the same folklore (what’s the obsession with Snow White, we wonder). We can’t remember the last time a queen is oh-so-sexy and evil at the same time.
Scarlett Johansson – ‘The Avengers’ The first thought that came into our minds when ‘The Avengers’ was announced: “Woohoo! Scarlett Johansson is back in a skin-tight catsuit!”. The sexy Scarlett reprises her role as the deadly Black Widow in the most anticipated superhero movie of all time, and we really can’t wait for Scarlett to kick some ugly alien butt.
Anne Hathaway – ‘The Dark Knight Rises’Many have tried donning the catsuit, many have failed miserably. But this year, Anne Hathaway will attempt to bring the Catwoman to life in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. She has the looks, the bod and the charisma to play Catwoman; so hopefully, this translates well into the movie. If not, hey, Anne Hathaway is still an eye candy.
Rihanna – ‘Battleship’ Oh, guess which sexy pop star will be making her way to the big screen? Yup, Rihanna will be making her silver screen debut as an FBI agent who tags along with the Navy as they try and gun down alien spaceships in the board game-inspired flick ‘Battleship’. It’s too early to tell if she has the acting chops, but we wouldn’t mind paying ten buck just to watch her work a machine gun.
Nicole Scherzinger – ‘Men in Black III’Rihanna won’t be the only pop star making her silver screen debut: former Pussycat Dolls front woman Nicole Scherzinger will be appearing alongside Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in ‘Men in Black III’. We are not sure how much of a screen time Nicole has in the movie, but a minute is all we need to go gaga.
Milla Jovovich – ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ We are getting a little bit bored of the whole ‘Resident Evil’ series, but one thing we will never get bored of is, well, Milla Jovovich. The ever-so-pretty Milla will make her return as Alice in ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’, and there’s nothing more satisfying than watching Milla slicing a zombie in half.
